The inspiration for AIT comes from the tragic wildfires that occurred around Spokane, Washington, in August of 2023. One of our founders learned that a close friend’s home had been damaged and felt led to help in any way possible. Flying to Spokane and driving out to their home, he was able to provide basic assistance and, simply by being there in their time of need, hope. In the coming weeks after the fire, other friends continued the support and recovery efforts. This experience sparked a vision: If a few average people could make such an impact, what could an organized and well funded effort achieve? That moment became the foundation of AIT, inspiring us to create a platform dedicated to amplifying compassionate action in the face of crisis.
